My weekend was probably the best weekend this year. First on Saturday on the morning my brother went to Kansas by himself, not completely though he went with a someone from his team and well he got second place but it was a close game. He also said he went lazer tagging, and that's all I know about what happened in Kansas. Then it's onto Saturday for my family (except for my brother). First thing that happened was I had a soccer game and the score was sad... It was like 13 to 3, our team lost. Then good stuff started happening. My big sister and me and just us. No one else. Just us two, we went to Skate North and I probably fell like 5 times but that's that. At first I went on Roller Blades and I failed. Then I went onto skates and I did way more better and we also got a snow cone and we got the flavor strawberry (even though I hate strawberry) and after a couple of hours our parents picked us up and we went to Church and things were going normal until a kid came up to me and asked if I wanted to do this thing with him. I had to walk up to the priest and do an Amen thing. After that I would go on one side then the other three people would go on the other sides and we would get these baskets where we passed it to people who had money to put in. I don't know exactly what happened

HEY THERE! For the past few days a group and me have been working on a project based on an invertebrate. My group had to do octopuses and snails so here it is below!
HEY THERE PEEPS!!! I'm going to make a blog post about my weekend!! So on Friday not much happened on Friday in the morning and at night at about 10:00 there was a boxing fight on paper view that cost about 100 dollars!!! And the two people fighting were some people named Mayweather vs Pacquiao and sure enough the United States guy won - Mayweather!!! :) And on Saturday I had a soccer game and we lost... But it went pretty good too. Then on Sunday my brother had two soccer games in Ames. He lost one then lost the other one and well my brother scored a goal... And that's pretty much my weekend not the greatest but it was still a good one. Pretty boring though... SEE YA
Hey there! Today Mac Barnett (A famous and cool author) visited our school and he talked about some of the books he made. He said his recently made book was called The Skunk which was a picture book. He read aloud the book and the book was pretty good, and he also talked about the Brixton Brother series which is a mystery series and he talked about the four books, and he said that the first book took place in library and well things start to get interesting (read the books yourself! Their awesome!!) then he said his favorite book was the second book, but my favorite book was the third. He also talked about the book The Terrible Two and how they thought about it and stuff like that. He also said that there was gonna be another Terrible Two book coming out on January and I haven't read the first one yet so I'll probably start reading it soon and for me my favorite part was when he started talking about the Brixton Brother series. So lots of things happened when he visited our school but those stuff were most of the things he said and Mac Barnett was also a funny and nice guy too but yeah maybe start reading his books because for me I really like his books so I think you will to!
Hi! Today I'm going to talk about a field trip going to the capital in Des Moines and Des Moines Art Center. I'm going to talk about the capital first and let me tell you that we (by we I mean my class) went to the legislative branch. So when my class went into the capital it looked pretty cool and we had a tour guide too! I learned lots of stuff about the capital, like when the capital went on fire, and the history of the capital and how the gold was legit leaf gold. Our tour guide told us that if she were to grab all the gold and crunch it all up into a ball it would be the size of a golf ball so yeah gold leaf is VERY thin. and we also went into the library in the capital and it smelled AWESOME and there were a ton of books in the library but they were all about the history of laws or something like that and we just looked in the library and stuff and then went to a spot in the capital and when we looked up there was a picture of the sky and and the Iowa flag on the top of the capital. It was pretty cool. Then we learned about this HUGE ship, and it was the biggest one in the US and it was in California and in the end of the tour guide we learned about these dolls that represented all the first lady's of the governor and that was pretty much the whole trip there and well my favorite part of this all was to be able to look up at the sky and Iowa flag :) And now it's time to talk about the art center! Before we went in the building we went to the sculpture park where there were a ton of sculptures and I won't name most of them but i'll try to name most of them. So first off let's talk about this letter man. It was very cool and we got to get inside of the body there was entrance kind of thing and it was a basically a person sitting down with their arms wrapped on him except his body was all letters!!! Then we got to see this ghost made by a Japanese guy and it was one of my favorite sculptures there and then there was this sculpture with chairs that we sat on and yeah not much to say about that then there was my number one sculpture. It was a sculpture with mirrors that had one color in each mirror and it went on to be a color wheel. Then we found this horse kind of thing that looked like it was made with wood but really it started out to be wood then it was covered with these kind of things so yeah... Anyway I think those are all the sculptures i'm going to talk about so let's get right into getting inside the art center so remember the blog I posted about Anselm Kiefer and how one of his pieces were in the art center well I got to see it! And believe me it was HUGE!!! But we got to talk about it and well Kiefer saw that the destruction in ww2 and decided to paint about it, and moving on we found a Pablo Picasso and I found out some pretty interesting stuff about his paintings we also got to see some other stuff and yeah I can't name all the pieces so I'll leave some pictures and yeah that was my field trip!
Hey there! Today I did another Animoto video but this time I did it on an artist named Anselm Kiefer. Tons of information about him in the video down below! Check it out! AND PEACE!!
Ok well hey there! I'm gonna talk about my weekend so yeah let's just start... So the first thing that happened was on Friday when I thought that we were going to the movies but my mom was at work and my dad was at work too and well my dad didn't come back home in time... then the next thing that happened was on Saturday and I had a soccer game. Yup, and well I lost that game and the rest was pretty much normal stuff, I played video games, so yeah but anyway on Sunday I had another soccer game but this time I made a deal with my mom, she said if my team won and if I did good she would give me a tablet and well my team lost and yeah I got mad and stuff happened... But that's pretty much my weekend!
HELLO THERE!!! I've got another vocab video for you! I called it SICK VOCAB and well yeah. GIVE ME IDEAS FOR TITLE NAMES! I NEED HELP!! anyway enjoy the video! (jazz music in it!)
HEY THERE PEEPS. Today i'm gonna talk about my week, and well I played video games (of course) and um well I played Gmod and Goat Simulator (They each cost ten dollars but it was totally worth it! And check it out!!), but anyway something more serious was Saturday it was reading relays. Reading relays is where we have to read these different books and in about a two months we go in a school and the teachers give up questions and we have to answer it with the books that we were supposed to read and if knew the authors name we got three extra points (saying the book name counts as five points and we knew all the author names :) and schools were against schools and well... We lost in the second round. SO CLOSE THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was eight points away :( But something else happened on Sunday it was Easter and well I was finding the eggs because the other people that were finding it were little kids so I though if I was one of the people who found the eggs then I would get the most candy and I did, but after I finished I went to the porch and got two extra eggs and a big chocolate bunny (I haven't tasted it yet). But that was mostly what happened.
Hey there you lovely people today I have a vocab video. Not much to say but here it is below and I hope you enjoy it
